About the Role
Support Director of Product Marketing and Development in the successful implementation of all development initiatives related to the Strut 365 Product Portfolio (both product development and merchandising needs). Help to drive and manage all facets of product development, launch, support, promotion and day-to-day business inclusive of Strut 365 collateral and sampling programs as well as competitive category reviews, sales performance, pricing and COG analyses. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive programs to completion and in-center implementation.
A Day in the Life
New Product Development and Project Management
• Support program and product development, from concept to launch including full range marketing activities such as planning, research, formula testing, etc., in conjunction with Director.
• Partner and collaborate closely with all cross-functional teams including external development company, Supply Chain, Creative, Design, Packaging, Visual Merchandising, PR & Talent to drive projects to completion.
• Manage status reports of all projects, providing updates on a regular basis.
• Track and manage all key timeline date approvals (product, testing, package, and artwork).
• Develop product copy in partnership with external Advertising agency and own routing process through all necessary channels.
• Maintain item Master list, product tracking sheets and all additional calendars and forms necessary.
• Oversee and maintain all product standards and product submission approval forms.
Sampling:
• Manage the planning and execution of internal and external sampling programs.
• Maintain product sample calendar.
• Provide monthly reports on competitive initiatives in the sampling arena.
Go-To-Market Planning and Execution:
• Manage the development of marketing support materials for new product launches.
• Review all product related copy (brochures, shelf talkers, PR files, Training manual updates).
• Coordinate all new product comps for internal and external teams (PR, product shoots, Talent, etc.), as well as events.
Presentation and Communication:
• Assist in preparation of all presentations inclusive of Annual Brand Conference, Expos, and product introductions and any necessary back up material.
• Own all product and merchandising related network communications and manage communication timeline.
Reporting and Analysis:
• Prepare regular business analysis including category and competitive reviews to monitor, track brand development and identify successful competitive strategies in the market place.
• Perform competitive pricing and COG analyses.
• Manage the development of actionable, data-driven insights based on sales performance to support product and marketing strategy.
• Stay abreast of competitive activity, product innovations, and beauty and lifestyle trends.
• Translate and analyze competitive analysis, survey, and other marketing available informational tools for new product ideation.
• Own and prepare hindsight reports for each launch.
Merchandising:
• Partner with Visual Merchandising to ensure timely execution of Merchandising offerings.
• Assist the Director, Product Marketing and Development and Visual Merchandising in the conceptualization, coordination, and successful execution of Visual Merchandising concept and guidelines regarding product launches, promotions, and basic business
• Ensure that Visual Merchandising guidelines are consistent with EWC Brand aesthetics.

Education and Experience
• 4+ years of beauty industry experience required (skincare and/or body care related preferred).
• BS or BA in Marketing or related field
