The purpose of the Temporary Email Marketing Coordinator with Clarks Americas eCommerce team is to support on-going marketing initiatives. The scope of the opportunity is to support a fast growing division, with great exposure to the business. We’re interested in someone who has junior level experience (2+ years) on an email team looking for exposure to more senior duties.
The Temporary Email Coordinator will report to the Email Marketing Manager to plan for and execute email campaigns on behalf of ClarksUSA.com. The role will assist with seasonal planning, creative direction, gaining consensus for plans from stakeholders, and executing email campaigns within Clarks email service provider. If you are customer service orientated (understanding of customer and communication), results driven, organized, proactive, self-motivated and able to take ownership this role would be a fit for you.
Essential Knowledge:
• Preparation of email marketing calendars
• Execution of email marketing campaigns-2+ years of email marketing experience, Specialist knowledge of email processes
• Proven experience in online marketing (specifically email)
• Worked on an email program – preferably in the retail sector
• Experience with measuring performance of email marketing campaigns
• Demonstrates understanding of customer journey
• Strong presentation skills; able to present digital concepts and ideas effectively
• Understands CAN-SPAM compliance and considerations
Successful Experience:
• Footwear and/or apparel multi-channel retailer experience preferred
• Knowledge of marketing/branding principles
• Knowledge of creative development
• Familiarity with HTML and ability to learn technical systems and in-house tools quickly
• Experience with 3rd party email service provider tools
• Experience with segmentation and marketing journey creation
• BA/BS Degree
Technical Skills:
• Hands-on ESP experience (e.g. Bronto or Salesforce preferred)
• Hands-on CRM experience (AgilOne preferred)
• Competent in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Segment and manage customer data
• Use personalization capabilities in email campaign planning
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Organized and proactive
• Self-motivated; takes ownership
• Demonstrates attention to detail & strong time management/project management skills
• Problem solving
• Able to work in a multi-disciplined team; team player, flexible and approachable
• Customer service orientated (understanding of customer and communication)
• Results driven
