Summary
• We are searching for a talented Marketing Analytics professional to help in delivering marketing insights for Athleta’s continued growth. This analysis will inform leaders across the brand to make strategic marketing spend decisions to maximize media mix spend and overall ROAS. Given we are an omni channel brand, there is significant opportunity to better understand the effectiveness of multiple marketing touchpoints and their impact on customer behavior.
• The ideal candidate for this position is smart, analytical, and an excellent communicator who is curious and loves to use data to solve business challenges. This person reports into the Director of Customer and Marketing Analytics.
• Roles & Responsibilities
• Create both standardized, automated reports as well as more in-depth analyses on marketing spend.
• Analyze vehicle performance across product, time and channel dimensions to identify patterns and recommend opportunities to maximize media mix and overall marketing investments.
• Execute multi touch attribution analysis to make recommendations around shifting spend within both a constrained and unconstrained marketing budget scenario.
• Develop relationships with the Marketing team to effectively influence potential shifts in strategies.
Qualifications
• Demonstrated problem solving, technical and data-analysis skills
• Detail-oriented with ability to balance detail and holistic, strategic perspective of business
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively and to lead persuasively; ability to communicate complex concepts to various audiences in a clear and concise manner
• Excellent communication/presentation skills that can be adapted to audiences from staff to senior executive level
• Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously
• Must work well with multi-functional work teams and be willing to take initiative
• Must be able to respond calmly to demands of internal customers and work in pressure situations
• Strong project management, time management, organizational and consultative skills
• Knowledge of SAS, SPSS, PowerPivot, Excel, SQL and VBA or demonstrated ability to rapidly gain fluency in a comparable context, such as statistical software, computer programming languages, or databases
• Experience with Tableau or comparable data visualization platforms; creation of metrics reports and dashboard views
