Title: Analyst, Digital Optimization & Testing
Department:Advanced Analytics
SUMMARY
The Analyst of Digital Optimization & Testing will support the growth and development of the URBN digital properties through the execution of the digital analytics and testing programs. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Advanced Analytics, this individual will spearhead the use of accurate and thorough quantitative measurement tactics to enhance the performance and user experience of all digital platforms. This individual will act as the owner of digital measurement, establishing best practices and standards to be leveraged across all brands while driving innovation in measurement and eCommerce strategy.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work with business and IT partners to provide metrics and insights to support onsite enhancements before, during and after implementation.
• Write tagging requirements and monitor the current state of tagging implementation across all digital sites and applications. Work with both the development team and the tag management vendor to implement new tags and monitor and enhance existing tags.
• Execute day-to-day ad-hoc analytic requests.
• Partner with the product management, UX, personalization and mobile strategy leads on the development of customer journeys and testing paradigms.
• Partner on the development and management of the digital ABn testing protocol.
• Be the voice of the customer and the numbers in all digital conversations.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Possesses a strong analytical capability and uses logical thought process to solve problems
• Has the ability to clearly and concisely communicate analytical insight through both words and visualizations
• Direct product experience with analytics applications for ecommerce e.g, Coremetrics, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics 360
• Proficient in all MS Office applications; advanced Excel skills a must
• Has unparalleled attention to detail
• Excellent presentation and writing skills a must
• Experience with Python, HTML, CSS and/or Javascript a plus
• Tableau, Microstrategy and/or other data visualization tool experience a plus
• SQL experience a must
• Adapts easily to changing situations and demonstrates flexibility in juggling priorities
• Experience with real-time analytics systems and dashboarding development a plus
• Self-starting, entrepreneurial, innovative attitude a requirement
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 5 years’ analytics / testing / ecommerce experience required with demonstrated ability to work independently to manage and grow analytics practices
