Manager Trade Marketing – Department Store & Dot Com
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for partnering with leadership to regionalize and execute North America marketing programs and strategies for Aveda’s Department Store and Dot Com channels.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Partner with leadership to regionalize and execute effective Department Store and Dot Com marketing programs that deliver results
• Communicate and execute 360 degree campaigns to drive traffic to Department Store and Dot Com locations with a focus on sell-through
• Ensure creative messaging, collateral and animation are adapted for effectiveness within the Department Store and e-commerce environments
• Review and adjust eventing strategies for maximum impact within Department Store locations and Dot Com platforms by region
• Effectively communicate execution strategies including in-store/in-salon guest experiences, advisor/stylist engagement activities and field execution tools
• Analyze and understand in detail the “why” behind the results and formulate action plans on how to accelerate, partner with senior leadership regarding changes as necessary
• Partner with leadership to regionalize strategies for merchandising and category management by channel
• Assist with product and category planning, including limited life, discontinuation and out of stock management
• Present and communicate marketing strategies and results by channel to key stakeholders as needed
• Align with overall NA marketing strategies to ensure a consistent guest experience across all Aveda channels
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience:
5 years progressive experience in Sales & Marketing
Other:
• Previous experience in Marketing within a multi-channel environment
• An entrepreneurial spirit including the ability to make decisions as if the business were one’s own
• Demonstrated ability to execute strategic marketing plans that drive results
• Strong financial acumen including the ability to create, understand and analyze financial sales reports
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including ability to write content and copy
• Strong attention to detail including the ability to effectively proofread and edit copy
• Strong presentation skills including the ability to present to large audiences
• Ability to adapt quickly to meet the demands of the business
