Director Brand Marketing - Pearle Vision
Position:Full-Time

GENERAL FUNCTION The Director of Marketing plans, develops and implements marketing strategies and communications, marketing promotions, special events and public relation activities for the Retail stores.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develops traffic driving programs in line with brand guidelines to drive awareness, interest and sales. Creates and oversees the development and implementation of support materials, collateral and services needed.
• Drives the retail brand across all retail Stores to ensure consistent brand execution.
• Partners with GM, Merchandising, Planning and Allocation and Visual Merchandising to understand strategic imperatives in order to develop appropriate and supportive in-store marketing plans.
• Directs Retail approach and vision when acting as a liaison with various departments such as Global marketing, Web, Merchandising, Visual and Retail Field to enable communication.
• Collaboratively partners with Visual Merchandising and Retail Training to promote and support key product stories.
• Works closely with Brand Communications and Go-To-Market teams to extend the global campaigns across all possible retail avenues.
• Develops and drives overall retail marketing calendar and works closely with Go-To-Market to align with other channels.
• Implements organizational processes to enable effective cross functional teams to support marketing initiatives with innovative ideas. Develops and drives a dashboard to monitor performance and execution in key areas and stores.
• Oversees planning and management of department processes and practices to ensure that programs are aligned with goals and objectives.
• Assesses and supports new growth opportunities and provides support from strategic concept development, valuation and presentation.
• Consults cross-functional teams to generate viable solutions that meet defined objectives.
• Manages budgets and schedules for all marketing campaigns, analyzes results and reports findings including return on investment information.
• Manages execution and measures results of each campaign (individually, seasonally, quarterly and annually) and reports feedback to team and partners.
• Communicates and educates all team members and partners on changes in policy and practices related to Marketing within the organization.
• Develops weekly, monthly and quarterly traffic driving initiatives to hit sales goals.
• Owns and develops the retail marketing plan as it fits within the larger scope of the business.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Merchandising or related field
• 10+ years of marketing experience
• Retail industry marketing experience
• Demonstrates logical analysis and problem solving skills
• Excellent project management, time management, organizational, and communication skills
• Detail oriented and ability to multi-task
• Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities
• Ability to work and influence a variety of groups, internal and external
• Working knowledge of various marketing techniques and processes
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• MBA or Masters
• 7+ years of specific in-store marketing experience
