About the role:
Whilst we continue to grow and scale the Farfetch brand, we’re on the lookout for a super creative Senior Brand Marketing Manager to help us to develop the Brand Marketing function. You will be responsible for managing our global creative projects & brand initiatives, to build engaging campaigns & experiences for our customer and target audiences.
You will form part of a larger Marketing function dedicated to growing the awareness of the Farfetch brand in key global markets, working on clearly articulating what our brand represents globally but also how this should be localized. Identifying opportunities for building meaningful brand experiences and narratives, to leading on our category & special brand projects – this truly is an exciting opportunity for a creative marketer to be at the forefront of a growing international brand.
We’re looking for a true innovator, someone who challenges the norm and can evolve concepts & tests into fully developed proposals and 360 global launches. Through the team or individually, you will plan and deliver high impact brand projects across all consumer touch points, working across the marketing matrix and in collaboration with the Online Communications Manager to deliver coordinated campaigns.
What you’ll do:
• You will drive the development, ideation and strategic thinking of best-in-class marketing solutions and creative concepts
• You will demonstrate customer empathy, ensuring that our marketing experiences exceed customer expectations and needs
• You will Identify and assess ongoing marketing opportunities as they arise
• You will be responsible for developing the careers of your direct reports and helping them grow & excel
• You will collaborate with the Customer Insights team to identify new opportunities and perception gaps to tackle with brand projects and to drive brand equity & awareness globally
• You will work across broad business functions in marketing & supply, to ensure we are building innovative campaigns that amplify work from across supply & marketing internal teams
• You will align with the global and local seasonal marketing calendars
• You will conduct relevant reporting activities to measure the efficiency and commercial success of campaigns
• You will work on a plan to drive marketing initiatives that target key perception challenges with the brand globally & locally, whilst working closely with local markets to solve these challenges and bring these initiatives to life
• You will manage budgets and costs within agreed measures
Who you are:
• You are a creative thinker, with a proven track record of delivering innovative & creative content campaigns
• You are passionate about all things digital & big on innovation
• You have experience in the luxury or fashion industry
• You have experience in building best in class and original cross-platform digital marketing programs
• You are passionate about managing & developing a growing team
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• You are a strategic, creative thinker with the ability to turn idea into holistic content programs
• You have strong attention to detail, you are organized with good management skills
• You are design-minded with ability to create effective visual presentations
• You have the ability to manage and prioritize multiple deliverables with hard deadlines
You are a true self-starter with an autonomous working style
• You have the ability to work well with different stakeholders across the business at all levels
• You demonstrate strong leadership and collaboration skills
• You are an excellent project manager
• You ideally have international marketing experience
• You have good cultural awareness
