Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
The Director, Organizational Development & Effectiveness is responsible for developing and delivering programs and services within the Market and local business functions that build and strengthen organizational culture and effectiveness
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and ensure execution of OD&OE interventions that tangibly solve workplace issues and improve individual team and adidas performance (high performing team workshops, change management, strategy and planning sessions, etc.)
• Enable organizational development guidelines and processes that reinforce commitment to the adidas leadership framework as well as to overall business agility, performance and profitability
• Expand and deepen OD & OE capabilities, tools and frameworks in ways that enable the HR, Talent communities and Business Unit Managers to effectively lead and manage through significant business change
• Implement organisational and individual diagnostic tools that provide greater insights to organisational effectiveness priorities, delivers solutions against those priorities and ensures measurable impact
• Shepherd desired culture outcomes within the Market as they align with global cultural priorities and imperatives
• Collaborate with all aspects of the adidas Talent function as well as the broader Human Resources community to ensure an integrated talent experience for adidas people.
• Manage internal business projects from an Organisational effectiveness perspective with minimal supervision and consistent reporting of results
• Partner with adidas HR and Talent community to provide strategic, operational and tactical guidance on all organizational development and effectiveness issues
• Be key contributor to adidas HR Talent team that offers consulting services in areas of organization design and development, change management, coaching and team development

• Work effectively and collaboratively across multiple Functions/Businesses and hierarchies:
• Human Resources, Talent Community, OD/OE Team members and Stakeholders
• Market/Function/Business Senior Leadership
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Deep, applied knowledge in designing, managing and measuring organizational development and effectiveness interventions within global, complex organizations
• Demonstrated ability to manage challenging, inter-dependent programs and initiatives with multiple, invested stakeholders
• Mastery level facilitation, negotiation and consulting skills with audiences of all levels, perspectives and objectives
• In-depth understanding of strategic planning, change management, program management and implementation models and techniques
• Ability to credibly engage with internal clients, focused on developing relevant solutions that meet and/or exceed projected results while building and maintaining strong relationships and gaining trust
• Strong technical and analytical background in the areas of assessment, development, project management, reporting and systems thinking
• Proven ability to think outside the box and provide creative solutions that unify best practices and business needs in a scalable, sustainable manner
• Expert communication and presentation skills across all situations and professional contexts
• Fluent with technology, can use software, systems and digital tools to support efficient, effective delivery of work
• Values and mission driven – role model for living adidas values and aligning results to overarching adidas strategy
• Fluent in English (written and spoken), German a plus
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
• Advanced degree (e.g. M.Sc., Diploma) in Industrial or Organizational Psychology or relevant similar degree or experience
• 10 or more years of work experience (preferably within different companies across diverse industries)
• Professional certifications in areas related to Organizational Development, Coaching, Leadership or Team development, Systems Thinking, Human Resources
• Experience in facilitating strategic planning, organizational learning models, high performing team sessions, business leadership workshops
