Marketing Specialist – App and Email targeting

Overview
Anthropologie seeks a digital marketing professional to support multiple facets of the Anthropologie App and Email programs, including marketing, user engagement and overall messaging strategy. Teamwork, innovation, analysis and strategic thinking are critical aspects of this position’s responsibilities.
Responsibilities
• Lead development and execution of Anthropologie’s app strategy to deliver against overall digital marketing goals.
• Present regular reporting and planning of device performance, including app user engagement data, well as on going competitive analysis and bench marking.
• Develop contact message plan for all aspects of the app including in-app messaging & push notifications.
• Create and execute app download strategy through app store optimization, paid digital marketing & in-store marketing.
• Stay on top of app marketing trends to keep Anthropologie at the forefront; Identify and propose new opportunities appropriate for the brand.
• Ensure app content is up to date & aligned with Anthropologie’s overall marketing goals.
• Work closely with the app product team to communicate app optimization needs and requests for product updates.
• Identify opportunities to test into different segments within the email program (SQL experience required)
• Utilize Anthropologie’s CRM database and marketing database to pull segments to be used for email and other paid marketing channels to support general business and specific marketing programs.
Qualifications
• 2-3 years of marketing experience for a large retailer or digital marketing agency
• SQL experience required
• Experience with CRM databases and marketing databases (i.e. Custora) required.
• Excellent communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively in a cross-functional environment
• Experience with standard industry reporting and diagnostic tools as well as App and Web Analytics packages
• Strong analytic and business acumen; Ability to analyze and compile performance reports
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or eCommerce related field preferred

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
