Director, Ecommerce & Retailer.com Jo Malone
Description
The Director of NA eCommerce, Jo Malone will manage the eCommerce business and deliver sales for the brand site and retailer.com sites where Jo Malone products are sold. The Director will oversee the day-to-day business relating to eCommerce with full operations and sales responsibilities such as planning and implementing conversion driving marketing programs, increase conversion rates, increase traffic and opt-ins; monitor KPIs such as acquisition and retention growth, average order value, units per order, etc.
The Director will also be responsible for the Retailer.com strategy alongside the NA brand to ensure overall sales growth and profitability are met, while building strong collaborative relationships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Including but not limited to):
• Drive sustainable and profitable growth for brand sites and Retailer.com sites
• Ideate and implement long term growth plans for brand sites and retailer.com sites
• Lead partnership with cross functional stakeholders (global, regional, and retail partners) in order to influence and drive the business forward
• Negotiate with retail partners to secure innovative marketing programs and brand exposure
• Oversee P&L budgets and net operating margins; ensure marketing programs, mix of business, etc. within brand site and retailer.com sites are achieving brand goals
• Manage brand site operations with demand planners, finance leads, developers, front end & backend feature managers, etc.
• Manage and implement non-saleable forecasts for brand site and Retailer.com accounts
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have a proven track record of direct and online marketing with at least 8+ years in a commercially minded role that have P&L responsibilities. eCommerce or catalog experience strongly preferred
• Must have strong analytical and project management skills who is able to translate offline brand vision to the online channel and execute toward that vision. Must uphold brand equity, values, and positioning of the brand at all times
• Strong skills in strategy and planning, budget and P&L management, customer experience, merchandising and performance marketing (Organic, Paid Advertising, SEO/SEM, Email, Affiliate Marketing, etc.)
• Proven leadership and team management experience from having direct responsibility of managing high-performing teams
• Creative thinker and problem solver; must thrive in fast paced environment, prioritize and oversee multiple projects at once; must have attention to detail, and work well with cross functional teams
• Must possess excellent creative, organizational, verbal and written communication skills
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and Excel
• BA/BS required, MBA preferred.
