Creative Manager- Product Design (B2B)

About the role:
We’re looking for a creative and enthusiastic Lead Creative designer to oversee the discovery, creation and evolution of a visual design language and user experience for our back office products. Working closely with the Creative Design Manager, you will champion high standards and great attention to detail, providing guidance and design direction within your team. With a conceptual mindset and strong attention to detail you will be a talented digital creative who’s able to ground your ideas in solid design theory. You will be an advocate for exceptional typography, colour theory and compelling interaction patterns and skilled in stakeholder management in all situations.
What you’ll do:
• You will take direction from the Creative Design Manager, oversee the discovery, creation and evolution of a visual design language for all of our back office products
• You will protect and champion a toolkit that makes the new visual design language easily applicable the output of the whole back office team
• You will act as brand guardian and advise on all brand and creative work, ensuring guidelines are adhered to, working with Product Designers to achieve this vision
• You will ensure that all product design is done with a full understanding of best practice, adhering to the Farfetch brand guidelines and deliver continuous review and critique of output
• You will establish your role and internal profile as a key design lead for design approvals, whilst creating a process that makes execution efficient
• You will work collaboratively within an Agile process with; other UX designers, digital designers, product owners, project managers, UI and back end developers
• You will champion user experience and advocate the best design for our end users
• You will bring inspiring ideas and motivation to an energetic and collaborative team
Who you are:
• You are an extremely experienced digital product designer
• You are from a BA/BSc/MA in HCI, Graphic / Visual Design, Information Systems, Computer Science or similar background
• You are experienced in leading and delivering a visual design toolkit
• You are experience in strategic design and creative development from initial concept to finished design in both agency and in-house environments
• You are ideally experienced in working in fashion e-commerce and/or a digital creative agency or enterprise b2b products
• You are an expert in the area
• You are an expert knowledge of Adobe CC/Sketch or relevant design software and skilled in rapid prototyping
• You are excellent at verbal and written communication skills
• You are curious about how things work and have a passion for emerging technologies and all things interactive.
• You are able and willing to travel to other Farfetch global offices when required
