We are searching for a Senior Director of Eastbay Marketing to drive strategic brand and sales initiatives. The Senior Director will be responsible for strategic leadership, continuous innovation, and execution of a brand experience that speaks to the Eastbay muses. Responsibilities
• Drive all marketing efforts for the Eastbay brand across channels: eastbay.com, social media sites, mobile, catalog and through vendor partners.
• Manage a significant advertising budget expected to be optimized across media channels.
• Evaluate and report on media performance and mix optimization. Establish financial, operational and quality metrics for management
• Lead all customer and brand related research to establish a muse profile for our core customer; create advertising plans designed to enhance the brand image and drive sales.
• Direct the formulation of strategies, while maintaining responsibility for plan execution and reporting.
• Share highly complex information related to marketing plans and strategy; collaborating with executives across portfolio companies. Lead diverse group of Brand executives in media strategy with persuasion and results-based credibility.
• Constantly builds team capability through results-oriented leadership, training, and hiring practices.
Qualifications
• Demonstrated success in managing media budgets in excess of $50 million annually.
• Experience engaging company executives in strategic dialog and distill strategy into tactical plans for the brand managers.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and use consumer data to build media strategy
• Experience managing cross-functional, and cross-divisional teams.
• At least 10 years of experience planning, developing, and managing departmental expense and capital budgets.
• A Bachelor’s degree with 5 year of experience, leading Marketing and/or eCommerce teams.
