The Director, Global Retention Marketing is responsible for developing, implementing and advancing the company’s capabilities & programs in support of Michael Kors’ customer retention and customer lifetime value initiatives. Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing & CRM, this position is a key member of the global marketing team responsible for working with the international markets to develop the appropriate multichannel contact strategies and programs to drive revenue via actionable customer insights.
Major Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Partner closely with analytics and data science teams, providing direction to customer analytics team inclusive of establishing analytics roadmap, writing analytics brief, and aligning on methodology and approach to measurement of customer lifetime value
• Establish and measure global customer retention & loyalty goals. Work across regions to identify and share best practices resulting in global retention/loyalty roadmap. Evolve existing processes and procedures necessary to link international partners with programs initiated at corporate HQ
• Lead retention & loyalty team, guiding teams through design and execution of customer campaigns through campaign management tool. Coach teams on reporting preparation and communication standards.
• Management of program budgets and achievement of customer revenue targets. Identification of opportunities to further drive revenue through customer campaigns and improve marketing efficiencies
• With IT, and the Sr. Manager of Customer analytics, manage CRM customer database, including hygiene, auditing for accuracy & integration of new data elements.
• Uncover business opportunities through analysis of customer, web, and marketing data. Share findings with stakeholders inclusive of e-Commerce, Merchandising, Planning, and Retail executives
• Identify and research trends in marketing technology and continuously update team on new capabilities to enhance our marketing technology stack.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree
• Minimum of 3 years at the Director level in customer marketing, CRM, and/or analytics. Solid understanding of retail and e-commerce business required
• Experience with marketing technology, specifically Campaign Management and Data Management Platforms
• Strong data visualization skills
• E-mail marketing experience preferred
• Loyalty program management experience
• Ability to review metrics on an on-going basis, analyze, draw conclusions and recommend immediate action
• Solid understanding of analytics, including segmentation and applicable metrics for all tactics and channels
• Passion for customer centric marketing and strong interest in leveraging data to achieve business outcomes
