Summary
The Photo Retoucher will work with the Post Production Manager to insure all Brand images being used are print ready and meet the Brand’s high quality standards. The Photo Retoucher will assist the Post Production Manager in maintaining the UA image database, and will help distribute images to necessary parties.
What will you do?
• Digital Photography retouching including image compositing, color correction, clipping and prepping files for final use
• Maintaining photography files in the new asset management system, including appending metadata and accurately labeling images
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Capture1, and Bridge
• Oversee printing of in-house proofs and color output files before going to press
• Facilitate movement and distribution of files between necessary parties and departments
• High level digital retouching including color correction, compositing and image clean up
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks/deadlines.
• Possesses a strong conceptual skill, high level sense of the production process
• Extremely detail oriented
• Team player, and positive influencer
• Experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams under tight deadlines.
• Prior experience working with digital retouching for printing

What have you accomplished already?
• BA degree in photography, digital imaging or related arts
• Two years’ experience in commercial digital retouching and commercial photography
• Mac Proficiency, Adobe and Capture1 software
• Prior experience with commercial digital retouching
• Prior experience with a digital photography file management system
• Experience succeeding in a fast-paced growth environment involving time-sensitive, complex projects
• Ability to handle many tasks at once and deliver high-quality output every time, on time
• Strong Time Management skills
• Understanding of printing techniques and media
• Experience working with other creative individuals
• Excellent communications skills
• Excellent collaboration skills
