Overview
The role of the Assistant Merchandiser is to focus on and manage the flow of the product within Apparel and Accessories from the buy to the activation as well as the overall maintenance of the site.
Responsibilities
• Own the onsite merchandising for emails, landing pages and homepages.
• Evaluate the competition and make recommendations to improve the Anthropologie on-site merchandising experience for the customer.
• Act as a key partner to the Executive Director and the digital team on Website refinement projects.
• Maintain the needs of the Navigation calendar.
• Execute and follow up on navigation updates across all areas.
• Execute visual changes to category and product pages, create assortments, react to current business and adjust site accordingly.
• Manage the email prep process which includes: creating and maintaining basecamp briefs for all apparel-focused emails, and ensuring all product in an email is photographed and has correct faceouts on the site.
• Communicate key messaging information to teams so that the web assortment is aligned with the retail assortment.
• Act as the point person for retouchers, copywriters, the photo studio team, the social media team, and other cross-functional partners within eCommerce and retail.
Qualifications
• Awareness of the industry and trend, specifically within eCommerce.
• Understanding of the Anthropologie customer and aesthetic.

• Strong business acumen.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion, Business, or a related field.
