Responsibilities
JOB MISSION:
Reporting to the Manager of Global Marketing Analytics, the Sr. Marketing Analyst is an essential role within the Strategy and Analytics team needed to influence the strategic and tactical decisions within the Global and Regional Marketing Departments. This position will be responsible for providing cogent and timely reporting and analysis with actionable business insights designed to improve the effectiveness of content created, advance the efficiencies of marketing spend and increase consumer retention and loyalty.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Help establish processes and capabilities required to measure and report the impact and effectiveness of all media campaigns and spend globally across both acquisition and retention efforts.
• Standardize and broaden consumer retention metric reporting; develop new ways of viewing/analyzing retention (and loyalty) data (focus on direct to consumer channels).
• Standardize and broaden media metric reporting across all channels and regions; develop new ways of viewing /analyzing marketing data across all channels and regions.
• Actively manage campaign tracking processes and documentation to ensure data quality; Research and resolve any other data discrepancies to ensure accurate data capture and analysis.
• Collaborate with external partners such as agencies and vendors to assist with data collection, reporting and analysis.
• Actively seek opportunities to increase revenue and ROAS through analytics driven recommendations.
• Identify and present opportunities to optimize marketing spend as well as cross-channel marketing campaigns across consumer segments.
• Identify and present opportunities to increase consumer retention/life-time value and accelerate marketing programs designed to improve loyalty
• Identify and present data-driven marketing strategies based on business trends.
• Drive recommendations for the NB Loyalty and Email program to increase enrollment and activity based on deep understanding of program, high value segments and activities.
• Help manage social listening and monitoring tools to provide the organization with a deeper understanding of our customers and category
• Stay informed about, communicate, and apply new or current trends and best practices in marketing measurement
KEY CUSTOMERS
The Sr. Marketing Analyst is expected to strategically support the following internal customers: Senior North America Marketing Manager, North America Marketing Lead, Senior Global Marketing Manager and Ecommerce Integration Engineer. As time allows, insights and knowledge sharing is expected across additional functions and departments.
MEASURES OF SUCCESS
The Sr. Marketing Analyst will be measured on brand health (IPSOS and Google Search Index) and business results (Sales and ROAS) achieved across key markets, the ability to influence strategic decisions through data-driven insights and the capability to stay informed about, communicate and apply new or current trends and best practices in marketing analytics.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline, statistics, economics, or business marketing.
• 4+ years working in marketing, analytics, or media
• 1+ years working with social listening/monitoring platforms
• 1+ years working across retention marketing platforms and programs
• Familiarity with website analytics platforms, ideally Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics.
• Experience with media tracking/measurement tools (DCM, MOAT, Nielsen, Millward Brown) a plus
• Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data analysis into business recommendations
• Excellent judgment, strategic thinker, enthusiastic and entrepreneurial.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Uses sound judgment to identify issues and escalates when appropriate.
• Presents him / herself in a professional manner.
