Description
You will be responsible for finding tools and technologies that can automate large scale creative production for the performance marketing channels, and ensuring these are delivered on time and to Farfetch’s creative guidelines. You will also be responsible for managing the content upload globally across the Farfetch website and apps, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all the Farfetch sub folders and channels, and work with the team to develop the CMS tools used by your team. This role will also work with the Creative team to manage the asset & content library so that external teams can use it on a self-serve basis. When required you will take on responsibility for the production and logistics of photographic shoots for editorial features on the Farfetch site, including the negotiation and booking of all members of the creative teams for shoots, models and talent where appropriate.
Ideally you will have proven experience in this field either agency side, or within a high volume marketing production function. Although this is not a creative role, you will have an understanding of the creative processes, challenges involved and a strong eye for detail. Being a strong communicator is key, with confidence holding meetings and delegating work where necessary – you will work across the business, and build contacts/relationships in all offices. This role is ideal for someone who wants a new challenge and the ability to build and shape a new business function.
What you’ll do:
Briefing and project management:
• You will put together a briefing process to ensure all briefs are communicated correctly to the designers before they begin work. Break down marketing briefs to calculate the required resource needed to fulfil the briefs, alongside QA’ing the team output
• You will suggest new tools to manage and share project information with the entire business. Create new best practice processes and strive to constantly improve planning and procedures, making recommendations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness is achieved
• You will assess briefs provided by stakeholders to confirm objectives, budget and timelines for marketing projects before beginning production
• You will manage the copywriting schedule and collecting of translations from content writers/translators in the business
• You will project manage the production of larger scale campaigns (e.g. #the one, sale etc)
Content management:
• You will manage the content upload across website & app for the homepage and landing page
• You will work with the tech team to develop processes and efficiencies to manage website content upload (e.g. Almir / internal CMS enhancements)
• You will work with the Creative team to manage the ‘Image bank’ to ensure all marketing teams/ designers have access to assets required and these are kept in an organised way
• You will negotiation and management of appropriate usage rights for all original photographic imagery produced where required
Asset production:
• You will proactively source tools to automate design production where possible (e.g. banner flow) so we can deliver marketing assets and campaigns at scale
• You will work with the creative team to manage the organisational elements of marketing photoshoots including booking of sets, calling in of products, booking of contractors/photographers, budgets, contracts and payments where required
• You will option and negotiate of the best possible fees for all freelance contributors for projects
• You will oversee all suppliers to ensure execution of requirements as well as tracking of expenses, invoices and legal documents where relevant
Team management:
• You will build a team to deliver this new function
• You will proactively plan and manage resources within the team
• You will recruit, develop and retain talent in line with the needs of the business
Who you are:
• You are experienced working in a similar role, with experience in ecommerce & marketing
• You have a strong understanding of web, digital and creative teams with excellent time management skills and an ability to drive a project forward to ensure it meets its deadlines
• You have outstanding organisational skills
• You are experienced in working with design automation tools for large scale production
• You are experienced managing a range of production dependencies across a wide range of platforms
• You are experienced managing complex workflows, and putting a scheduling tool into practice effectively
• You are able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• You have an excellent understanding of design consistencies and attention to detail
• You have team scheduling experience and strong a communicator
• You are able to work under pressure and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
