We are now looking for a talented Website Marketing Executive to join THE OUTNET Website Trading team.
Key Objectives of role:
• Manage the promotional activity for all website areas
• Oversee promotional content spaces on THE OUTNET.COM website
• Support the strategy for geo-targeting and local optimisation in key markets
• Assist the Senior Website Marketing Executive on content & design driven website improvements & personalisation
• Lead the development and implementation of A/B testing and website trading projects
• Drive innovation and idea generation across all devices: maintaining THE OUTNET’s competitive edge by delivering innovative website marketing initiatives
• Contribute to optimising the website experience for each visitor, making the experience as relevant as possible
Responsibilities:
• Manage planning for onsite marketing-led content, including promotional spaces within Just In, category designer pages and mega nav, considering market and seasonal product trends
• Oversee website representation of key service messaging such as delivery information & promotions
• Oversee bugs and enhancements identifying any improvements needed across the site pages
• Write briefs and oversee approvals for the redesign of key website areas
• Manage the customer journey from arrival on site to purchase, identifying key areas in need of attention
• Work with the Editorial team and Product Merchandising Manager to deliver engaging content ideas for all onsite real estate which is editorially engaging and commercially relevant
• Work with the Creative team to ensure that all copy, product and design elements maximise selling opportunities
• Work with Product Merchandising team to ensure messaging and product selection support the buy and key depth areas
• Work with design, sub-editors, production, editorial to ensure content and campaigns initiatives run smoothly – being briefed, produced, signed off and put live in a timely manner
• Support in redesign of marketing pages such as, About us, My Account, Help, Shopping bag, checkout and any seasonal or commercial marketing pages
• Support in the strategy for key markets, suggesting enhancements & geo-targeting opportunities for each segment
• Utilise knowledge of trade, existing stock, upcoming upload product, event launch dates and commercial opportunities to brief reactive activity onsite to positively impact weekly sales
• Oversee the A/B testing backlog working with any relevant 3rd parties
• Own & develop the landing pages & onsite assets reporting
• Maintain the website strategy to achieve KPIs – including go live times, click-through rates, sales, conversion
• Set targets & analyse performance of all onsite promotional spaces and sections so that campaigns are as effective as possible and draw usable conclusions to influence future activities
• Ad hoc troubleshooting and housekeeping
Essential Skills & Requirements:
• Online retail marketing experience, preferably in fashion
• Highly computer literate, advanced knowledge of Excel and Analytics tools (including Website Analytics)
• Understanding of CMS systems, preferably with an additional understanding of content targeting and testing 3rd party tools
• Knowledge of and passion for technology and digital
• Highly commercially aware, with creative flair and love of the luxury fashion product
• Proven track record of reaching sales targets, improving processes and managing multiple tasks to tight deadlines
• Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability and confidence to liaise at all levels
• Proven ability to work quickly and efficiently
• Extremely organized with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Flexible, proactive and open to change
• Self-motivated, uses initiative
• Willingness to go the extra mile and maintain an exceptional level of service to all internal & external contacts
• Ability to think clearly and calmly when faced with issues or problems
• Experience with training, coaching and supporting more junior team members
Location: London, W12
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
