Responsibilities
The seasonal Human Resources Coordinator will be based in the New York City Flagship building providing recruitment support to the New York City Retail Human Resources team during the critical holiday season. This role will be responsible for processing, screening and reviewing pre-employment and background check materials, verifying, coordinating and processing new hire documentation, completing payroll forms and ensuring personnel and staffing files are maintained. This role also provides and responds to employee service requests, which may include resolving inquiries regarding the onboarding system and Payroll. The seasonal coordinator will interact closely with the retail HR team.
This is a temporary job with full time work week hours.
Qualifications
The qualified candidate must possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Human Resources administrative/support role. This role requires exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, strong Microsoft software application skills (Outlook, Word, Excel), and the ability to quickly learn our internal applicant tracking system, iCIMS, and our HRIS system, PeopleSoft. The individual must be detail oriented, deadline driven, highly organized, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively. Additionally, this position requires the ability to work independently as well as be an active, collaborative member of a team and the ability to work in a fast paced environment where business needs are constantly changing. The candidate must be flexible and willing to work overtime as needed and flexible with changing job requirements as the business needs change. An in progress BA/BS or completed BA/BS is preferred.
Candidates should have or be able to obtain work authorization in the country where the position is based. The company may sponsor candidates for work authorization depending on the level of the position and the applicants' unique education, skills and abilities.
