Description
This position is responsible for strategic projects within the emerging markets scope supporting the International management team, regional teams (Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa, Latin America and Travel Retail), and corresponding affiliates within those regions.
Responsibilities:
•Drive the Emerging Markets program with existing top priority emerging markets and newly added markets including the execution of:
-Emerging Market Councils
-Emerging Market Roadmaps
-Market Opportunity Assessment Tool Update Management
-Top Priority Actions for Brands
•Lead initiatives that accelerate emerging markets including new market entry proposals, global strategies and acceleration plans for key partners, strategic corporate initiatives affecting international markets, and evaluation of strategic market structure changes.
•Manage and execute projects as it pertains to International including initial project scoping, budget development, stakeholder alignment, execution planning, partner selection, project management, executive status reporting, change management, etc.
•Work closely with Corporate Strategy to deliver Affiliate information for presentations such as the Board of Directors book, strategy KPIs, and other executive requests.
•Work with the regions and affiliates to centralize the management of critical situations pertaining to Global Information Systems, Supply Chain, Regulatory Compliance, etc.
•Support GVC programs and other strategic corporate initiatives, as needed. Represent international markets as part of the corporate team with key stakeholders in global functions and brands.
Qualifications
•8+ years related experience
•Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred
•Proactive strategic thinker; self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit
•Highly collaborative and can build relationships across cultures and with all levels of management within brands, regions, and functions
•Highly analytical, can synthesize information and offer recommendations/solutions
•Strong communication and leadership skills
•Must be able to travel up to 20-30% of the time
•Additional language skills a plus
