What you’ll be doing day to day...
• Produce weekly trade packs for management, analysing weekly sales and highlighting opportunities and risks
• Sales forecasting & planning
• Manage all weekly trade calls, ensuring feedback notes are taken, with all actions points assigned to an owner & feedback to team in trade meetings
• Ensure critical path dates are met and adhere by partners
• Develop & establish relationships with existing accounts
• Compile monthly detailed competitor reports highlighting new directions, opportunities and pricing
• Produce seasonal forecasts by account & department for Logistics & Merchandising
• Ensure partner’s budget, minimum guarantee and dispatch requirements per month are met. Update weekly order trackers, sales and managing OTB
• Schedule buy meetings, present ranges and working with partners on selection & product requirements
• Build relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally (within Brand and Arcadia group) Key stakeholders include: Buying & merchandising, marketing, design, finance, exports, and logistics
• Effectively manage and support the workload of MAA
• Review existing and bought ranges ensuring on time delivery into business taking necessary action and advising partners of any movement
• Provide and support on seasonal reviews and lessons learnt ensuring consistency across all markets
What we’re looking for…
• Previous Wholesale/Merchandising experience
• Extensive Microsoft Office, specifically intermediate to advanced level in Excel and PowerPoint
• Proven numerical and analytical skills
• Ability to network with internal and external customers
• Adaptability to change management working in a fast pace environment
• Proven management skills and ability to motivate and influence/encourage direct reports
• Must have gravitas when dealing with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience of working within a Retail environment
• An interest in product and Fashion
• Commercial flare
• Organised and driven
