Description
What you’ll do:
• Develop strategy for Japanese market that reflects core brand identity and business objectives with clear KPI’s, measures and objectives, reporting performance on a regular basis including recommendations to drive improvement
• Create, execute and manage the annual content calendar, budget, contact list for Japan, ensuring considered content, effective planning and strong team leadership
• Work with the local Digital Marketing team, global Marketing Team, and local agency to ideate and execute strategy to expand/enhance brand awareness in Japan
• Identify major initiatives, partnerships and philanthropic alliances that benefit core company objectives thereby ensuring industry noise and global recognition
• Support and expand selected editorial features and initiatives by providing new ideas
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, and external agencies to ensure the brand message is delivered effectively and consistently
Who you are:
• Ideally a minimum 5-7 years’ proven experience within luxury retail, fashion marketing or other creative sector i.e. Events, Publications
• Strong exposure to online marketing preferable, however offline experience will also be advantageous
• Excellent understanding of the Farfetch brand and concept, with an appreciation for e-commerce and multichannel
• Excellent communication skills, leadership, strategic ability, proven creativity and initiative
• In depth knowledge of the local market with proven ability to successfully build brand awareness
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to think strategically
• Strong team player, able to work collaboratively at a global and local level, and influence at all levels of the organisation
• Experience working in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment, with competing deadlines and priorities
• Highly organized with exceptional planning capabilities
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written
