Reef eCommerce Coordinator
The eCommerce Coordinator is responsible for all facets of supporting REEF Ecommerce Operations for the overall performance, user experience and functionality of REEF.com. This position will assist with executing Ecommerce strategies, Direct-to-Consumer business initiatives and visual merchandising strategies to improve overall sales performance.
How you will move the needle:
• Assist with technical execution against Direct-to-Consumer calendar including weekly and seasonal site refreshes, product launches, product catalog maintenance, front-end updates in Adobe Experience Manager, setting up promotions and promo codes using WebSphere’s Management Center.
• Assist with the day-to-day operations of Reef.com to ensure optimal site performance, reliability and smooth customer experience from home page to check-out.
• Collaborate with the Ecommerce team and Search Engine Optimization agency to plan and execute SEO strategy and SEO best practices, including action plans for achieving and measuring SEO success.
• Perform quality assurance and website usability testing on ongoing basis.
• Coordinate Technical Supportand project manage bug fixes and feature enhancements for all Reef.com internal teams and vendors. Identify and report website defects, functionality bugs, styling issues, and submit new development requests that make up the eCommerce team's development backlog via best-in-class issue tracking systems. Support new vendor integrations including new tags implementation and management via Google Tag Manager.
• Category Management, On-Site Search and Merchandising:
• Ability to create compelling product categories based on current trends and analysis of product and category metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement of on-site search engine.
• Ensure new products are set-up on time and merchandised according to analytics, testing data and relevant strategies.
• Utilize selling data and analytics to identify opportunities to improve conversion, product page view, cross-sell and add to cart rates, all to drive incremental sales for areas of responsibility
Job/Educational Requirements:
• 3 years of experience in technical project management, web development, day-to-day website maintenance.
• Bachelor's Degree (BA) or equivalent from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Additional education or certification in Ecommerce, Web Design & UX, Google Analytics Academy is preferred.
Qualifications:
• Strong technical understanding of website functionality
• Basic knowledge of JIRA and agile development methodology preferred
• Fundamental understanding and practical experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS is a plus
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices preferred
• Robust project management skills
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Google Tools including Google Analytics Google Console, Google Tag Manager
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
• Fast learner; able to quickly learn new software & systems
• Familiar with CSV imports/exports, product feeds and databases is a plus
• Experience with a/b testing tools such as Monetate or Optimizely is a plus
• The ideal candidate will be a go-getter with excellent attention to detail that can quickly grasp the big picture and help to get things done
