Primary Purpose
To accomplish a wide variety of facilities initiatives, maintenance, and continuous improvements/operation of multiple office locations. This is to include, but not limited to: project work, vendor management, supply ordering/restocking/inventory, furniture teardown/install, lighting/plumbing, and general maintenance. Includes facility infrastructure maintenance, inspections, and interactions with associates to handle facilities issues in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot for general maintenance (facilities infrastructure and systems), act as facility liaison for issues:
• Lights, doors, handles and closers, partner with onsite departments to handle facilities issues, HVAC, floods/water leaks, electrical outages
• Plumbing, light construction work, partner with landlord/property management services/superintendent on general maintenance of the grounds and exterior of the building
• Project work supporting facilities initiatives, office moves, build outs, set up/tear down to support corporate events
Other duties may include, but are not limited to:
• Vendor/contractor management, bids/walkthroughs, payment setup/follow-up, onsite liaison during work
• Furniture moves/builds, TV/cable troubleshooting and mounting, light A/V work, blinds, floor carpet tile replacement, light IT work on HDMI cables/wiring/wall cable fishing
• Relieve janitorial person if needed, handle issues prior to calling plumbers, identify building janitorial issues and escalate to appropriate janitorial teams
• Cover lobby reception breaks; assist onsite Security teams when needed
• Own supply orders/restocking for multiple facilities, mailroom/maintenance room/janitorial room set up/restocking/organization
• Coordinate supply/vendor/contractor deliveries and work
• Assist in setup and maintenance of all facility disaster recovery
Education & Experience Requirements
• HS Diploma or equivalent required
• Two (2) or more years of general building and/or facilities maintenance experience
• Basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical skills
• Supply ordering, PO creation, and general office support experience
• Ability to work independently in the absence of supervision
• Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
• Must possess a valid Driver’s license
• Position requires lifting of up to 35 pounds, bending, stooping, climbing ladders, reaching overhead, etc.
• Ability to work flexible hours
