About the Role
As Refinery29’s experiential team continues to grow and to disrupt, we are looking for hard working, driven, creative and collaborative members to join our expanding team.
We are looking for a Production Coordinator who will assist with experiential logistics in support of a Production Manager. This person must be able to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, meet deadlines with little supervision, demonstrate a strong understanding of event production and be organized, self-motivated and can approach problems in new ways. The Production Coordinator should have a love for event management, providing outstanding white-glove service for clients, and strong communication skills as well as the ability to work as part of a team are critical to success.

What you’ll do:
• Assist with production related matters for all Refinery29 events.
• Assist with creating client facing materials such as Activation Deck’s and Event re-caps.
• Assist with on-site production (load-in / out) for all assigned events.
• Serve as a liaison with vendors on event-related matters
• Assist with processing vendor payments and keeping track of event finances.
• Assist production manager with production schedules and logistics.
• Coordinate site visits and vendor scheduling.
• Liaising with in-house Design and Strategy divisions to reach client goals for each project.
• Liaise between internal legal and finance departments to process vendor contract and payments.
• Assist with preparing documents for events, including run-of-show, production schedules and scripts.
• Assist with wrapping events and creating event recap decks.
What you have:
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in event production
• Proven track record of executing successful projects
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments from a variety of staff.
• Demonstrate a keen interest in, and understanding of, current millennial culture
• Fantastic client service ethic and high expectations for quality
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment and ready to take initiative and work independently
• Ability to accomplish projects with little supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal skills both in person and by phone, with high professionalism.
• Understanding of Keynote, Excel and Google Docs.
