Fanatics’ B2B Marketing & Communication group operates as the B2B voice of our company. We are responsible for developing and executing marketing and communication strategies for our e-commerce and retail services, provided to teams, sports properties, and universities throughout North America.
In this role, you will be responsible for upping our game in strategic and creative communication and B2B brand positioning. You will be our story-teller – weaving the many benefits that we deliver partners and sports fans into a narrative of innovation and customer care. You will be devising the company’s B2B marketing plan – with a keen knowledge of the needs of our partners – and determining the right creative means and outlets for executing that plan.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the planning and direction of B2B marketing and communication with accountability for the development of the company’s overarching messaging and positioning strategy
• Build a comprehensive communications plan, including the management of marketing automation tools, email, website, and social channels
• Lead the execution of our go-to-market strategies for bringing new products and services to partners, including value propositions and product briefs for our products, solutions, and services based on target customers and user personae
• Lead B2B business analytics, used to create compelling case studies, positioning statements and partner insights.
• Support the Partner Management and Business Development teams with creative resources and new positioning, helping to drive renewals, new business, and adoption of our products and services
• Support the Business Development team with appropriate messaging, positioning and sales tools including white papers, sales presentations, and digital tools
• Develop compelling and easy-to-consume marketing content that will illuminate product benefits to prospects and partners, and enhance the customer experience
• Work closely with the Business Development team to develop comprehensive communication strategies to maximize partner engagement and drive satisfaction
• Accountable to project manage across teams and functions the development and delivery of all components for end-to-end marketing and communication plans
• Formulate the strategies for the function, execute and/or adjust the strategies based on prevailing conditions
• Obtain and allocate the best resources to achieve strategic and operating goals
• Interact with top management to communicate plan and strategies that will impact the organization
• Influence business decisions
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
• Degree in Business-related discipline. MBA with marketing emphasis preferred.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in marketing leadership – setting direction for and achieving objectives within the greater enterprise
• Must have 3+ years B2B Marketing experience
• A proven track record as a multichannel marketing leader, creating and executing successful marketing strategies in support of an enterprise sales organization
• Tactical experience with B2B email, search, social media, publicity, display advertising, lead generation, brand communication, content marketing, and industry events and promotions.
• Prefer candidates with experience in an agile development environment.
