The Role
The visual team at Superdry work closely with key departments across the business and the stores, designing and implementing the look and feel of the stores each season. The role of Visual Merchandising Product Manager is to visualise the brands visual merchandising strategy in the ‘Mock Shop’ based in head office and ensure the visual direction is cascaded to the field teams.
You will
• Deliver the mock shop set up, in-line with the brands vision and on time
• Ensure that the retail teams understand the visual direction clearly, ahead of implementation and that the execution of the brands visual strategy is replicated with minimal adaptation
• Engage with your stakeholders to understand their projects and timelines, ensure they are bought into the visual direction and that their input is considered and also shown
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to show a joined up visual direction for the brand across all channels
• Constantly push the evolution of the brands visual needs and work ahead of the curve on visual excellence
• Manage the mock shop samples
• Request regular feedback on what works and what needs improvement
• Proactively lead the product team and provide inspirational leadership to them
• Work in parallel with the Windows Manager and deputise for the Creative Manager when required
You are
• Highly creative, with a visual eye and strong commercial and analytical skills
• Adaptable to change, work well under pressure and able to execute multiple projects at once to an excellent standard
• Not afraid to work autonomously, enjoy problem solving and make sound business decisions
• Experienced in a fashion retail visual role, managing a small team
• Intermediate level in Microsoft Office and Adobe
