Essential Job Functions
·Work with global partners to help create in-store customer and employee
engagement for the Brand.
·Manage field Reward and Recognition programs
·Manage field reoccurring recognition funds
·Create and manage field contests
·Manage the Social Media assets posting for stores
• Develop Store Engagement during key marketing events
• Update seasonal store event tools
·Collate the Brand priorities and update the store weekly communication tool
·Determine and write store communications associated with areas of responsibility
·Manage several projects simultaneously and be able to track projects with varying deadlines
·Additional projects as initiatives are developed
Supports Sr. Manager with:
• Coordinating strategies that support customer and employee engagement including the above.
• Supports the Sr. Manager’s work-stream of product education by coordinating as needed.
• Helps coordinate team meetings and the team’s budget
Organizational Relationships
The Project Manager interacts with a multitude of Global business partners. Key business partners will include (but not limited to), Finance, Field Leadership, Inventory Management, Merchandising, Communications, Learning & Development, Marketing, Brand Operations, Visual Merchandising, Gap Online and external vendors.
• Have a creative and proactive approach to problem solving and improving tools.
• Ability to develop and implement strategic communications programs
• Strong project management skills
• Strong ability to multi-task, follow up and manage competing priorities.
• Proven ability to drive results through effective communications
• Ability to interact with and influence all levels of management.
• Ability to establish and work with cross functional teams, including non-US audiences
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to assess audience and determine appropriate communication solutions based on unique audience needs.
• Retail field experience required.
• Proficient in Adobe, Word and Excel
• Four-year college degree required, preferably in Communications or a related field of study
