Primary Purpose
Creative design targeting, NASCAR, NCAA and Pro League initiatives. Support on catalog, sales and marketing tools. Strong understanding of Brand identity, color, graphic design, and basic production art techniques. Partner with other in-house design teams on Corporate Branding and design direction.
Must have strong design skills, including a robust understanding of layout, type, color and composition needed to create professional designs and material that enhance individual brands through visual storytelling. This person needs to be results-oriented, team player with a passion for sports.
Essential Job Functions
External Focus:
• Knowledgeable on U.S. Sports and Entertainment properties
• Knowledgeable on trends, consumer insights, new opportunities, and competition
• Ability to present with confidence
• Relevant Trade Show attendance
• Knowledgeable on latest creative software programs, techniques, and applications
Internal Focus:
• Brainstorm new business opportunities with Product Line Managers, Sales, and Marketing contacts
• Ability to mix Brand identity rules with creative opportunities.
• Ability to create in a deadline oriented environment
• Assess opportunities and compatibility with operational technologies.
• Partner with the Operations team on new graphic placements and applications (ie: foils, new inks etc)

Education & Experience Requirements
• BA/BS preferred
• 3+ years of professional experience in graphic design with a creative portfolio of previous work
• Expert knowledge Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Product-Project Management tools
• Strong working knowledge of color, use of PMS, and production art techniques
