Marketing Operations and Traffic Manager - Ivy Park
A BIT ABOUT
In October 2014 Beyoncé and Arcadia announced a joint venture – an athleisure brand named IVY PARK, which launched in April 2016. The partnership, not collaboration, is designed and managed by Arcadia based in London.
The brand has received an overwhelming response, and now operates globally in North America, Europe, Middle East, Asia and Australia through wholesale and franchise partnerships. The ambition of the brand is to become a market leader in Athleisure wear, the fastest growing womenswear category today. Engaging a core consumer demographic between 18-35 years, the brand vision is to help women become mentally stronger through physical accomplishment.
THE ROLE
As the marketing operations manager you will work closely with the marketing team to manage all creative projects and timelines for the department. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of creative processes, project management, traffic management as well as the ability to effectively manage projects from concept to delivery. You will be a quick thinker, highly organized, and possess excellent communication skills.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Planning and managing projects across design, product, marketing, trade marketing, and PR.
• Developing and implementing workflow structures within the department.
• Managing the critical path and communicating project timelines to relevant team members; encouraging proactivity and ensuring deadlines are met. This includes product sample management and orders for various needs.
• Supporting the marketing and PR team with the execution of creative campaigns to international partners.
• Managing the design approvals process with the in-house artworker, external creative studio and international retail partners.
• Managing the distribution of creative assets to international partners including imagery, copy, brand guidelines and seasonal product updates.
• Manage and set up an asset management system with external partner.
• Creating templates and documents for the marketing team and ensuring they are updated ahead of team meetings, sakes meetings and international conference calls.
• Building strong working relationships with all Ivy Park team members and external partners/agencies.
• Troubleshooting daily issues and taking a solutions driven approach to ensure projects timelines remain on track.
• Consistently reviewing processes, workflows, productivity and efficiencies and communicating recommendations to the team.
• Production of lookbook, trade, sales and marketing materials.
• Budget management, processing invoices and general admin support for the department.
MUST HAVES
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Suite with emphasis on Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint and must be highly numeric.
• Must thrive in a fast paced environment and maintain a high level of attention-to-detail.
• Keeping a cool head when multi-tasking and handling a number of projects simultaneously.
• An articulate and confident communicator with the ability to manage numerous internal and external stakeholders of all levels.
• Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail to ensure the smooth running of all daily operations.
• A thorough understanding of the design process.
• Results and solutions focused.
• Confidently contribute fresh and innovative ideas.
• Demonstrate a flexible approach to work in a fast paced and changing environment.
• Content production (producer) skills.
• Demonstrate a strong interest in fashion/sports, trends and athletics.
• Previous management experience in a similar role essential.
