Description
Merchandising is the critical link between product and sales, ultimately linking back to our consumer. As the Merchandising Process Director, you will be part of a team revolutionizing the tools and processes involved in how our Merchandisers create consumer right assortments for our integrated marketplace. You will work with the business functionality and cross-functionally to redefine process, define business requirements, benefits and project scope. Managing changes against scope, impact to time, cost and quality to deliver on time will be paramount. You will develop resource plans and define resource skill sets as well as driving team performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Project Resource Management – Develops, defines and manages resource plan
• Project Cost/Time Management – Defines, manages and tracks project work according to scope, cost and time
• Project Operating Model – Ensuring Projects have developed and execute procedures necessary to deliver the work with quality and efficiency; Conduct ongoing assessment for continuous improvement
• Drive issue resolution, ownership & accountability – Facilitate functional and cross functional teams to make decisions, close issues & hold them accountable
• Enable Capability Offense – Enable decision making within the project team; provide functional support to teams
• Communications – Support internal and external project communications
• Talent/Staffing – Create opportunities for staff development; facilitate overall talent planning & resource capacity
Qualifications
• Bachelors' degree in Business or a related field, with 10+ years' professional experience
• Operational experience delivering global or regional projects
• Experience with global, geo and territory teams
• Knowledge of merchandising processes inclusive of category game plan
• Merchandising experience preferred
• Formal project management methodology a plus
• Exceptional collaboration, listening, written and verbal communication skills, including an ability to clearly communicate with management, business users, and the technology team
• High motivation and passion to work in a fast, agile environment with the ability to adapt to change
