As a Graphics Designer on the Global Footwear Team, you will utilize your knowledge of design to create visual stories for Nike Footwear. Based on strategic direction, you will be responsible for the development and execution of communication and digital campaigns to drive adoption of key process and technology improvements as it supports Nike’s continuing ability to evolve and innovate.
Responsibilities of the role include:
• Partner with Transition Management, Operations and Strategy to develop high-impact, compelling visual stories through typographic, photographic, illustrative and graphic elements that meet the needs of the business
• Possess expert understanding of multimedia design and experience building files for print, online and multimedia channels
• Manage project communication schedules and budget expectations
• Execute communication strategies, tactics, and metrics at a high level on tight timelines
• Design, present and integrate brand guidelines into organizational and project-specific deliverables
• Build credible relationships with team members and business stakeholders
• Leverage opportunities to make a direct and significant impact to engage Nike Inc. employees and show Nike as a leading innovation brand
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Communications, Design or related discipline preferred
5+ years' in communications and corporate environment (including, but not limited to marketing, PR, journalism, corporate communications, design or related discipline)
Proven ability to understand and incorporate web design principles
Proven ability using standard design tools/programs to create print and web-based collateral, including websites and videos
Ability to organize and lead projects within set timelines
Ability to communicate concepts clearly
Attention to detail is critical
Must be able to take action in solving issues while exhibiting mature judgment and systematic approach
Ability to provide leadership and guidance with functional expertise
Must be a strong team player and team builder
Candidate must be proactive with new ideas and willing to accept constructive feedback
Ability to work effectively with cross functional and cross cultural teams
