Summary
Under Armour North America is looking for a talented professional to join their Direct to Consumer Inventory team. This role is a rare opportunity to be a part of a rapidly growing brand and division. Passion, desire and integrity are traits we look for in our teammates. The candidate will also be responsible for owning/participating in departmental initiatives and projects to drive our continuous quest for Brand dominance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Partner cross-functionally to plan and execute monthly floorset activities across a diverse set of specialty stores
• Participate in pre-season floorset walk-throughs with peers and home office/field leaders, representing your categories and being the voice for inventory strategies/ownership
• Coordinate and execute the distribution of new product assortments utilizing merchandise plans and product strategies
• Manage replenishment to stores to maintain appropriate stock to sales ratio
• Analyze and manage inventory chase opportunities across total company inventory to support growing programs and initiatives
• Create, run and maintain various weekly reports to help analyze and understand sales trends, communicating findings and proactively driving the business forward
• Analyze and react to selling, manage-up findings and propose plan of action
• Communicate necessary information to your team and leadership, sharing wins and proposing solutions to challenges
• Lead all aspects of size selling and size management, including analysis, execution, publication, hindsight
• Recommend changes and/or enhancements to current procedures and systems for allocation and replenishment functions
• Actively seek out and initiate process improvements to elevate your team and the Brand
• Manage allocation of opening assortment as well as replenishment to new stores, monitoring performance and taking appropriate actions to support their business
• Partner with the IT team to resolve system issues, check status, track follow up and push for resolution

Qualifications

• Strong retail math acumen, including elements of inventory productivity measures (WOH, S/T, Builds)
• Proficiency at analyzing and interpreting large amounts of data; with the ability to synthesize information and translate into effective and actionable insights
• Ability to clearly and concisely identify and summarize complex problems or issues, identify, implement and hindsight solutions
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and to deliver results within timelines
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication and the ability to present information in a clear, concise and complete manner to various levels of peers and leadership
• Self-starter, creative, enthusiastic, innovative and collaborative attitude
• Sense of urgency and accuracy
• Ability to lead a project and influence non-direct reports

• Bachelor’s degree/relevant experience
• 1-3+ yrs. experience in a retail allocation role including experience with advanced allocation and replenishment methods required
• Advanced Excel skills imperative
• Knowledge of supply chain a plus
