REPORTING TO:VP, Category Leader – Industrial & logistics
The purpose of the position Regional Category Leader NA is to develop, communicate and execute the sourcing strategy at a global level in order to optimize the Total Cost of Ownership for Coty.
The role will take overall ownership over the category strategy and business plan and will act as commercial project leader on international cross functional projects within the category. The position is expected to be the main driver creating savings and spend insight on group level including transparency on processes and policies across markets. Additionally the position is expected to report and share findings, savings and transferring best practice experiences across Coty.
The position shall ensure appropriate support and alignment from local business units and countries in the implementation and execution of the strategy and relevant projects. In all its activities the position is expected to act as a commercial expert working closely together with all of the relevant teams as well as any other relevant internal or external stakeholder.
The position is expected to deliver ‘Cost out’, ‘Value in’ and ‘Cash in’ for Coty and requires close cooperation with a broad group Coty business stakeholders, for instance: MRO, CAPEX, Facilities Management.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Category Strategy
◦ Develop, formulate and deliver short, medium, long term sourcing strategy to ensure best TCO and security of supply for Coty
◦ Align strategy and tactics with key stakeholders
◦ Map internal and external spend and create spend transparency
◦ Describe and develop the organization needed to support implementation of strategies
• Negotiation and supplier relationship skills
◦ Lead negotiations on a group level
◦ Target lowest global costs and highest value for Coty globally
◦ Ensure Coty is the preferred customer for key suppliers
• Project management
◦ Continuously analyze the supply market to identify new opportunities
◦ Align with all relevant business functions in achieving strategic company targets
◦ Secure sharing of information and support for the local organizations and business units
◦ Develop and participate in cross functional teams
• Continuous improvement of value and quality
◦ Implement, support and ensure the use of relevant strategic sourcing processes in regards to sourcing of Facilities Management / MRO / CAPEX across the group

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Experience in managing internal customer and external supplier relationships
• Experience in defining global sourcing strategy for CAPEX / Facilities Management / MRO
• High level international negotiation experience
• Cross-functional & cross-culture change management experience
• Experience in development and implementation of sourcing strategies within a complex global organization
• International working experience / experience working in a global environment
• Experience with sourcing systems and e-tool solutions
• Proven experience building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders in the Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain departments
• Capable of analyzing independently the market, suppliers and alternative possibilities
• Minimum 10 years relevant commercial experience within all aspects of strategic sourcing on regional or global level
• Experience working within a regulated industry is a preference
• Team management
• Education: Post graduate degree is a preference
