eCommerce Supply Chain Manager
This position will be located in the Hudson Yards, New York Office. The eCommerce Supply Chain Manager will coordinate all supply chain planning and related activities for our emerging eCommerce business. This new role provides the opportunity to make a real impact on business results, process design and the evolution of our brand strategy. Accountable to provide focus and integration of data throughout the eCommerce order fulfillment process. Will utilize knowledge and capabilities across the supply chain sub-specialties of demand planning, supply planning, order fulfillment and inventory management. This is an exciting opportunity to develop our business in this critical channel while also developing your broad-based supply chain management skills.
Responsible for developing systematic processes and exception-based tools to deliver reliable product supply results as measured by fill rates, inventory levels and waste. As the lead supply chain resource for eCommerce, the manager will work with cross-functional teams to provide timely replenishment and planning actions/insights for all turn business, promotions, seasons and assortment changes. Help to integrate the latest business analysis and insights into the operational forecast.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in the area of Supply Chain, Economics, Management Science, or other quantitative business discipline
Minimum 5 years work experience preferably within a FMCG industry; Beauty industry experience very helpful
Must have ability to collaborate effectively, work cross functionally, build relationships and excel in a team environment
Experience with retail, point-of-sale and inventory data
Working knowledge of:
• Use of quantitative methods to analyze situations and solve business problems
Data management/databases/information systems
OLAP tools
Data Analysis
Mass market retail environment
Consumer marketing
Supply chain operations
Software Skills: Proficiency with MS Office required, intermediate MS Excel required, advanced Excel helpful; experience with a forecast modeling tool preferred; working knowledge of SAP systems and tools
Business acumen/sound judgment essential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Deliver accurate 12month rolling demand forecasts for all products in the eCommerce channel; ensure data integrity across systems
Liaise with key stakeholders internally across the supply chain including financial management as well as our external 3PL provider
Ensure smooth integration and data flow with the order fulfillment 3PL
Reconcile inventory as needed; may participate in inventory control activities
Provide analytical decision support as directed
Report KPIs
Manage monthly business reviews
Participate in special projects, providing leadership and expertise as needed on cross-functional teams
