Description
As the Global Order Fulfillment Director, you will work with the geographies and cross-functional partners in Planning & Logistics to successfully develop and deploy strategic capabilities and programs that advance Nike’s Service to our Customers. You will lead the creation and implementation of processes across the Integrated Marketplace Operations network & key cross-functional partners to ensure effective timely and precise delivery of our orders – across all order types. Your strategy, process and leadership expertise as well as your innovative spirit will help align the global organization around the vision, capability improvement and implementation of both optimization and transformational improvements.
Responsibilities include:
• Lead a prioritized Integrated Marketplace capability roadmap for elevating service to our customers in partnership with Planning and Logistics.
• Apply expert knowledge and industry insights to develop and appropriately lead networks and frameworks to accelerate our delivery performance, addressing business opportunities through the lens of People, Process and Technology
• Ensure Load-in floor sets delivered with a high degree of precision for our Fewer Better accounts, with fill-in supported by fast replenishment capabilities
• Lead efforts to provide more precise order status to our accounts
• Lead efforts to understand the root cause of delivery issues and partner closely with Planning, Logistics & Geography Integrated Marketplace Ops to ensure delivery reliability and precision
• Partner with Planning & Logistics to set up processes for end to end prioritization of supply to demand - at factory, airfreight, at consolidator – ensuring supply coverage is aligned to marketplace needs
• Partner with Logistics to set up processes to ensure inbound & distribution capacity is aligned to marketplace needs & planned shipment flow
• Lead capability development to ensure elevated delivery of category launches, initiatives and service of unique business models Always Available, NFL, NBA, etc.
• Connect subject matter experts, share insights and best practices on delivery excellence across our geographies
• Lead development of the cross-functional and cross-geo roadmap required to ensure effective and efficient order fulfillment process design and program execution.
• Collaborate with functional and technical partners to develop realistic implementation/project plans.
• Implement and monitor key performance metrics focused on improving reliability, precision, efficiency and overall flow and delivery of our orders
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree, plus a minimum of 8+ years' experience in Supply Chain, Business Process Management consulting, Logistics or related field. An additional 2 years’ of relevant experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable
• MBA or advanced degree is preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience driving cross-functional process improvements
• End to end knowledge of supply chain operations required
• Project team leadership/ coaching skills, development/implementation of plans and the ability to collaborate and influence at all levels
• Ability to influence and facilitate process-based business decisions and workshops – including leveraging Process Excellence methodologies such as Value Stream Mapping to identify continuous process improvement opportunities
• Experience in aligning cross-cultural, cross-functional and virtual teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Solid presenter and group facilitator. Exceptional listening skills
• Understanding of Nike systems (SAP, WMS) preferred
• Understand implications of different operational choices, and guide team to best solutions for organization.
