Purpose and Scope:
In support of the President, World of Accessories, the Strategy and Business development role is responsible for the elaboration of Brands strategies that highly impact business results, and leading cross-brands special projects, such as testing, accessories specific store development, etc
This is a pivotal role, working in close collaboration with the senior leadership of Accessories & Footwear merchandising, product develop, finance, planning, wholesale and retail channels, EMEA and APAC regions, CIEM and store design.
The role will also craft and drive actionable roadmaps, calendars, milestones and deliverables, by simplifying and prioritizing; and defining KPI’s to measure progress.
Key Responsibilities:
Internal Analysis:
• Monthly category fact-based performance analysis across brands/channels/regions, both qualitative and quantitative, drawing conclusions and actionable recommendations, and leading implementation
• Generate consolidated weekly business analysis, with data across brands/categories and draw relevant and action oriented conclusions, to be shared with Company’s senior management.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis on trends, insight on business
• Establish and monitor KPI’s to identify and implement performance based improvements and new strategic initiatives
External analysis
• Work in close partnership with CIEM to gather and analyze consumer and market trends in key markets worldwide, drafting actionable initiatives, and as a backbone to strategy elaboration
Strategy
• Formalize Acc&FW value-add strategy based on internal and external analysis, and in close partnership with key leaders
• Quantify impact of strategy proposal and create KPI’s to track performance
• Elaborate presentation of strategy to senior leadership as well as team.
• Identify and support high-impact initiatives across all brands while ensuring alignment.
• Lead cross-functional and cross-brand strategic initiatives, actively managing and monitoring milestones
Coordination and process efficiency
• Propose value-add improvements on current processes and procedures
• Streamline information and share appropriately
• Actively ensure that all cross-functional teams are aligned on brand decisions and priorities. Facilitate partnerships with senior leaders to ensure each can be successful in their role, while considering the success of the entire team.
• Proactively identify actionable cost improvement opportunities and spearhead continuous improvement/cost savings initiatives.
Projects
• Manage special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
• MBA – preferred
• International experience – preferred
• Must have strong consulting experience in business transformation and business plans
• 7-10 years experience in a top-tier consulting firm
• Retail or Brand experience
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
• Strategic thinker
• Team player who works well with all levels
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to handle complex projects and problems
• Self starter
