Visual Merchandising & Store Design Director - ARAMIS & DESIGNER FRAGRANCES - MICHAEL KORS - DKNY - TOMMY HILFIGER - TORY BURCH - ZEGNA (F/M) (Temp 6 months)
The Role:
To lead, develop and manage the successful implementation of all Store Design & Visual Merchandising policies in EMEA for the Aramis & Designer Fragrance s’ portfolio of brands.
Be a Brand Ambassador. Protect and maintain Store Design and Visual Merchandising brand equity.
Maintain brand vision whilst being regionally relevant and responsive to EMEA needs .
Directly work and liaise in close partnership with Global NY, the EMEA regional team, EMEA markets, the Corporate Design Center and the Indirect Procurement department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Builds strong partnerships and functions as interface, linking the Global Brand to Regional team, EMEA markets, COE and IP depts.
• Brand execution oversight & guidance, managing the portfolio priorities to ensure an optimum opering to the local markets, adapting the strategy appropriately for the target consumers
• Drives int. brand launches & ensures highly creative designs in line with brand identity / glob al guidelines
• Drives innovation and strategic suggestion in partnership with Brand VP/ Regional and EMEA Marketing Department to increase visual exposure of brands
•Adapts & applies Global SD & VM Concepts guidelines to regional projects, within timing constraints whilst maintaining quality and intent
• Oversees / reviews / develops 2D & 3D VM tools & technical draw ings for both SD & VM
• Ensures in store impact to create successful launches with proactive VM approach to business o pportunities
• Builds in-store brand consistency & local rele vancy throughout EMEA
• Holds regular update meetings and calls with Global teams / EMEA team and Aliates
• Coordinates internal / external project validation in close contact with Regional Business Dev. / Marketing
• Establishes and distributes EMEA Launch Guidelines to region
• Analyzes & reports market needs and species the type of support optimization
• Identifies and suggests areas of improvements to increase visibility and brand presence at POS for all brand formats
• Generates competitive intelligence & ensure up-to-date analysis of competition, upcoming fashion trends
Qualications & Experience:
Masters / BA / Degree Level Visual Merchandising or Design Equivalent Visual Merchandising / Architecture & Design Degree / Masters Level
Proven
Management Experience
10/15 years experience
Fluent English, French or any other
language a plus
Competencies & Skills:
Expert knowledge of Store Design & Visual Merchandising within luxury sector
Excellent knowledge of Regional and local POS specicities : Dept stores / Perfumeries
Strong written / oral and presentation communication
Proactive, organized and detail oriented
Proven related EMEA, large Aliate experience
Decision-making / Self-reliance and motivation
Creativity and open-mindedness
MAC software literate: Adobe Creative Suite,
Ability to create presentations and present,
Sketch Up, & 2D and 3D ability a plus
