POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for leading planning team in driving category sales, in stocks, and turn targets.
Planning Director, Sephora Collection
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage pre season budget roll up by brand.
• Conduct in season Open to Buy meetings.
• Direct and challenge team in managing opportunities and risks.
• Partner with DMM and Planners to strategize, develop, and manage financial plans thatsupport key brand strategies and initiatives.
• Lead development of newness seasonal strategy.
• Support and communicate inventory team needs to Executive team and cross functionalteams.
• Partner with Allocation, Demand Planning and Logistics to develop and implementstrategies that maximize sales and profitability.
• Direct and manage Planners to meet deliverables including order placement, andreplenishment, OTB management, allocation to stores, process management, brandmanagement, and cross-functional partnerships.
• Develop better process management for team.
• Well versed in all Inventory Management systems to support team on strategies andbusiness maintenance.
• Foster a work environment that embodies the Sephora values.
REQUIREMENTS:
• College degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 7 years retail planning and/or buying experience (OTB management, forecasting,allocation/distribution)
• Excellent technical skills – MS Office (Excel, Word)
• Strong numbers aptitude; able to compile complex statistical reports
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills; able to handle multiple priorities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong team development skills
• Flexible, team player
