About the Team
Marketing Manager, Offline Channels
The Growth team at Stitch Fix is responsible for driving new client acquisition. At its core, Stitch Fix is a personalization service, and our team leverages data to bring that same level of personalization to our marketing -- thus driving more effective and efficient acquisition. Partnering closely with the broader marketing team on conversion and retention, as well as our data science, creative, and engineering teams, we deploy a significant budget against a wide array of marketing channels, while experimenting across new channels and within existing ones.
About the Role
As the Offline Channel Manager, you will own all of our offline media buying -- across TV, Radio/Podcast, and Direct Mail. As our first dedicated offline channel manager, you will own, optimize, and scale a significant budget across these channels, and understand all nuances of resulting performance. You’ll partner closely with our Creative, Brand, Analytics, and broader Acquisition org to ensure your campaigns speak to potential clients in a way that both reflect the brand and drive performance.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…
• Own the strategy and execution of all TV, Radio, and Direct Mail buys at Stitch Fix. Deploy and optimize our budget and help us determine how and where that budget should scale.
• Dive into the complexities of measuring offline efforts; design mechanisms to quantify the lift on direct, organic, and other channels, and simplify regular reporting of results.
• Partner closely with Brand/Creative teams; share learnings on what performs best, and influence creation of new video/DM assets.
• Design experiments to better quantify the impact of TV, Radio, and Direct Mail. Partner closely with Analytics to conduct lift studies, and with Finance to regularly update our assumptions.
• Leverage agencies at the onset. Build out our capabilities to manage buys in-house, while determining where it remains resourceful to work with agencies.
• Determine whether and when we should test into new unexplored channels (e.g. Print, OOH).
• Coordinate tightly with other channel managers, sharing learnings regularly and applying within your channels.
• Be a talent magnet, building a team of associates and driving the vision for the broader acquisition team as we scale.
We’re excited about you because…
• You have 3+ years experience managing offline buys at-scale, and 5+ years in marketing overall
• You live and breathe offline channels, stay ahead of cutting-edge trends, and can establish yourself as the in-house subject matter expert on TV, Radio/Podcast, and Direct Mail.
• You speak the language of both brand and performance -- keeping both brand messaging/client journey and growth results in mind at all times.
• You are familiar with the suite of tools and vendors around Direct Mail -- from programmatic retargeting (e.g. PebblePost) to printing (e.g. AmazingMail).
• You are knowledgeable around multi-touch attribution and marketing mix models, viewing channel effectiveness through a holistic lens.
• You’ve built and managed high-functioning teams in the past, and have a network of stellar marketers to tap into as we build the team.
• You understand the nuances and complexities of data but act as a simplifier, realizing that data and insights are only powerful if they drive action.
• You thrive in high-volume, fast-paced and feedback driven environments.
• People describe you as exceptionally organized and detail-oriented.
• Cross-functional communication comes naturally to you in solving problems and addressing roadblocks.
• You’re highly self-motivated, have a stellar work ethic and you’re looking for the right company to support your growth.
• Above all else you are bright, kind and goal-oriented.
You’ll love working at Stitch Fix because we…
• Are a successful, fast-growing company with a start-up work vibe
• Are a technologically and data-driven business
• Offer competitive salaries, equity and comprehensive health benefits
• Are at the forefront of tech and fashion, redefining shopping for the next generation
• Are passionate about our clients and live/breathe the client experience
• Get to be creative on a daily basis
• Are a smart and experienced leadership team that wants to do it right & is open to new ideas
• Believe in autonomy & taking initiative
