Bonobos is seeking a Director of Brand and Retail Marketing to oversee strategy, development, implementation and optimization of Bonobos’ marketing campaigns, with the objectives of increasing brand awareness and traffic to our Guideshop locations.
In this role you will work closely with the Sr. Director of Branded and Integrated Communications to bring the brand positioning to life, designing strategies for multi-channel campaigns as well as leading a team of two through the execution of brand equity campaigns, partnerships and Guideshop marketing initiatives.

In order to achieve that goal, we need to have more than just great clothes, we need to craft and execute impactful marketing campaigns that not only attract customers, but keep them coming back for more. The ideal candidate for the role is a thoughtful and results driven leader who has worked for a high-growth consumer brand, with a focus on developing and executing impactful multi-channel campaigns. This role requires strong creative and strategic talent along with excellent communication and organization skills.
Responsibilities:
Brand Marketing
• Develop and own the marketing calendar strategy, ensuring all channels (owned, earned and paid) are aligned to achieve the goals of the company and marketing team
• Collaborate with agency of record, marketing and creative teams in the development and execution of brand equity campaigns
• Design media strategy to support brand campaigns and achieve brand awareness goals
• Manage day-to-day relationship with media buying agencies for brand awareness efforts (display ads and offline media)
• Collaborate with the Director of Content in the development of product marketing campaigns, from identifying the best stories to tell to aligning on campaign objectives and creative briefs. Then serve as a sounding board for creative concepts ideated by the Content team
Guideshop Marketing
• Develop, implement and optimize Guideshop Marketing Playbook for new store openings and ongoing support for comp doors, including creative and media optimization
• Own Guideshop channel marketing budget and utilize it to meet traffic and new customers KPIs
• Lead implementation of dedicated campaigns and ongoing traffic-driving efforts, with support from the Guideshop Marketing Associate
• Continuously evaluate ROI of Guideshop marketing investment and socialize it with relevant cross-functional partners
Partnerships
• Implement and optimize a partnership strategy focused on increasing brand awareness and strengthening brand equity
• Continuously develop relationships with potential partners and brands with high affinity that can enable us to meet our company and team goals
• Develop and implement our approach to social causes by identifying non-for-profit organizations to partner with and managing the campaign process from end to end
Leadership
• Mentor two direct reports: Integrated Marketing Manager and Guideshop Marketing Associate
• Provide team members with coaching, feedback, and developmental opportunities and building effective teams

• Have 10+ years of integrated and/or brand marketing experience, preferably in a B2C organization (experience at a traditional CPG is preferred)
• Have an Bachelor's Degree (Masters degree in a related field is a plus!)
• Can strategize and execute across a range of media channels
• Are scrappy and can implement campaigns with limited budget
• Have strong analytical skills and experience managing marketing budgets
• Have a proven ability to inspire and manage employees, internal teams and third-party partners
• Are a project management whiz and can skillfully communicate verbally and in writing
• Have proven management, leadership and coaching skills
• Are resourceful and proactive in identifying problems and finding solutions
• Thrive working in a fast-paced and scaling organization
• Have the ability and desire to flex from big picture thinking to digging into the details
