The Marketing Operations Coordinator will support the Database Marketing team and the operational functions related to our Orvis Direct Mail programs. Company Interfaces:
The position reports to the Director of Customer Optimization. This is an individual contributor, with no direct reports.
The position is classified as non-Exempt and will therefore be paid on an hourly rate and be eligible for overtime pay for hours works beyond 40 hours in a work week.
The position interfaces with Direct Marketing department personnel, IT, Creative Services, Inventory Management, Finance, and external vendors.
Performance Measurements:
Accurate and timely execution of all functions to ensure that time-sensitive functions of our direct mail programs are on-schedule. Performance will be evaluated on the position responsibilities and on the accuracy/timeliness of task completion standards and goals.
General Responsibilities:
• Catalog & merge purge schedules
• Invoice management and reporting
• Flash performance reports
• Ad hoc data input/selection
• Demand forecasts to Inventory
• Effort sheets to creative/merchants
• Prefix and Key code management
• Catalog and retail analysis document publication
• Promotional data reporting
• Data Model program support
• Catalog inventory management
• Printer and Merge vendors program support
• Management of master sheets for circulation
• Catalog bindery builds and catalog print quotations
Qualifications Required:
Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment with a strong work ethic and energy. Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage competing time-oriented tasks are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and computer proficiency is required. The candidate should be comfortable with the use of Excel, and general data manipulation/management. Ideally 1-2 years of relevant experience; or, a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with experience in a marketing internship.
