Content eCommerce Manager

As the eCommerce Content Manager, you are responsible for the overall coordination, communication, and execution of ecommerce website updates that align with our four pillars: music. art. action sports. street culture, in addition to showcasing our dedication to creative expression. You will have the unique ability to lead multiple projects, establish control-related standards and procedures, and extensively collaborate with ecommerce merchandising, brand marketing and creative for not only the US bases site, but throughout Canada and Mexico. You will be given the opportunity to interact daily with your peers in eCommerce, marketing and product teams and speak directly to consumers through content you have generated.
How You Will Move the Needle:
Responsible for securing approvals, uploading ecommerce assets, and scheduling and testing weekly site updates within the web platform to make sure the site’s performance is satisfactory. Manage website ecommerce projects aimed at improving the site usability for our consumers, such as changes to catalog upload or back end functionalities. Drive ecommerce production process and standards to ensure a high level of quality control and brand standards are met. Assist with maintaining site integrity and accuracy including but not limited to promotions, ecommerce content, product placement within categories, product details, and adhering to new product launch cadence. That way, everything is clear to our consumers and they will have an enjoyable and easy time navigating our site. Manages the Ecommerce Content Coordinator in testing, implementing and managing updates in functionality in order to improve internal coordination of tasks.
Skills for Success:
Years of Related Professional Experience: 3-5
Educational/ Position Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree (BA) or equivalent from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably with a major in Business, Ecommerce or other related field.
• 2+ years experience in Content Planning Tools (preferably Atlassian - JIRA, Team Calendar), Content Testing Tools (preferably Monetate), Analytics Tools (preferably Google Analytics and/or Coremetrics), HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop
• Experience in WebSphere Commerce (Management Center), CMS, Adobe Scene7, Responsive Web Design a plus
Skills:
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• 2-3 years experience in CMS, Coremetrics, Google Analytics, Websphere Commerce and WCS
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Tasks require a strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines
• Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-departmental team
Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:
• Willing and able to work additional hours when needed
• Bend, lift, open and move product and related office items varying in weight from 1 to 25 lbs, depending on need
