SUMMARY
The primary responsibilities of the Sr. e-Commerce Analyst includes owning the analytics infrastructure and monitoring of all key digital analytics for thenorthface.com (including content, site, consumer experience, traffic and marketing campaigns). This position will play a key role in defining the direction of the online experience and marketing investments to drive the digital commerce business at The North Face.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work closely with VP Digital Commerce and Experience and Director of Digital Commerce to monitor key TNF.com and digital metrics to identify issues/opportunities, research, and escalate as appropriate.
• Create daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly & yearly reports accurately and on a timely basis.
• Use analytics to identify ways to improve performance and efficiency for the ecommerce business. Use various tools including video/session replay, voice of customer surveys and research, as well as traditional data and KPIs. Identify key areas of opportunity as well as areas of concern and risk to address.
• Lead TNF.com data analytics strategy and contribute to VF Corporate-wide strategy in selection and implementation of analytics tools and vendors.
• Collaborate with the website technology team to identify gaps in the data capture strategy and implement enhancements. Coordinate tags, tracking parameter implementations.
• Contribute to TNF.com testing, personalization and CRM marketing efforts as appropriate by providing insight to teams and partnering with other analysts.
• Structure and present analyses to executives and other key stakeholders.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
• 5+ years of related professional experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Data Science or equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant systems experience working with standard web analytics tools.
• Retail e-Commerce, merchandising, marketing experience preferred.
• Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as cross functionally with a team to execute tasks & projects.
• Self-starter who is able to ramp up quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a cross functional team.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources.
• Detail-oriented, strong problem solving capabilities, and a curious nature.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Passion for ecommerce analytics and best practices is a requirement. Capable of analyzing KPIs and making recommendations for change to sales, site performance and traffic generating campaigns.
• Expertise in the SEM (Search Engine Marketing) / PPC (Pay Per Click), Email and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) strategies.
• Familiarity working with third party vendors, ecommerce tools and data tools: Coremetrics, Adobe Analtyics, GA, Tableau, Alteryx, Excel, SQL
• Must have proficient knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and be a strong communicator or results and recommendations.
• Travel required: 5%
