As our Western Europe Associate Footwear Merchandiser you will drive integrated, profitable and relevant assortments, which express the category vision in the marketplace.
Market Research and Analysis:
• Champion European consumer & marketplace insights to influence global product line planning according to the needs of the consumer and upcoming trends, with a deeper focus on Strategic Key Accounts
• Analyze product, consumer and competitive trends in the market across all distribution channels
Key Account Planning:
• Execute the line planning, pricing and product assortment process for a part of the overall product line, following the Regional direction
• Maximize line profitability, using key performance indicators from retail environment
Process Management:
• Liaise with the Merchandise Manager to meet key deliverables each season, including pricing deadlines, sample flagging, sales tool preparation for the Regional Go-To-Market process
• Participate in Regional product creation process for consumer relevant line extensions
Presentations/Communication:
• Work with Merchandising team to create impactful presentations to sell-in the product. Ensuring accuracy of the catalog and other sales tools
• Facilitate collaboration across several functions, ie Sales, Marketing, Retail, Demand Planning, Finance
Qualifications
• At least 3 years of experience in product management / retail related role
• General understanding of product construction and consumer trends
• Strong product acumen, great with numbers, proficient in leveraging all tools available to drive/inform classification decisions (i.e. sales data, trend reports, product integrity data, consumer insights, etc.)
• Creativity and passion for product
• Good attention to details and deadlines
• Effective verbal and written communication skills - able to influence at a variety of levels and across functions in a complex matrix
• Ability to deliver results against tight and complex timelines
• Ability to travel 10% time
