We appreciate a candidate that finds all aspects of email campaign marketing creation, monitoring, data analytics, proactive resourcefulness, and out-of-box thinking exciting and rewarding. Candidates must have strong attention to detail and be able to juggle multiple projects while working in a fast-paced digital environment.
Responsibilities:
• Performs day-to-day email marketing activities including, but not limited to, email campaign set-up, scheduling, testing, tagging and the deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered and dynamic content-driven campaigns.
• Upon email deployment, monitors engagement and deliverability in order to immediately escalate any issues to our email service provider for investigation.
• Assists in audience selection & email personalization execution.
• Work request (Jira) creation & workflow management.
• Writes effective creative briefs that include campaign objectives and strategic messaging plus manages the creative process.
• Cross-functional partnership to understand and implement the Ballard brand's seasonal marketing campaigns.
• Communicates analysis of email metrics on a weekly, monthly, and seasonal basis at the program and campaign level.
• Campaign change management and problem-solving.
• Testing & optimization setup and results reporting.
• Works with the Email Marketing Manager to manage operational details such as email deployments, source code uploads, and link management.
• Launches and project manages new functionality.
• Coordinates and distributes the Digital marketing calendar and messaging across departments.
• Email calendar management & communication.
• Requests data for and maintains reports in support of business analysis for Digital programs.
• Planning and support of launching online events and promotions.
• Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Must be a flexible, strong team player with a desire to work in a fast paced dynamic environment.
• The ability to effectively resolve problems and/or roadblocks as they occur and knowing when to escalate.
• Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to interface effectively with other departments.
• 2 – 3 years proven experience in a digital retail environment.
• Sharp attention to detail.
• Strong organization skills.
• A quick learner.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Experience working with an ESP (Exact Target Preferred).
