As a member of the Americas eCommerce team, you will be a part of a dynamic group responsible for executing the eCommerce activities required to meet the company’s financial goals & customer engagement objectives to bring profound comfort, fun, color and innovation to the world’s feet.
The Merchandise Planner is a cross-functional collaborator who is sales forecasting, buy planning, and inventory management that meet the financial goals of the Americas eCommerce team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following but are not limited to:
• Complete monthly forecast submissions for given categories (sales plan & buy plan)
• Manages OTB template & monitors inventory on a weekly basis to manage turn targets
• Provides input and builds tools to support long term merchandise planning
• Build and evaluate seasonal business plans; project long term product and sales implications
• Clearly communicates across all groups within NA eComm, and is a trusted resource for information
• Working knowledge of product and an innate ability to understand how product value propositions impact business plans
• Build seasonal product post-mortems
DAILY TASKSinclude the following but are not limited to:
• Weekly business recaps for upper management: sell through, executive summary, promo recaps, and inventory recaps.
• Attend the weekly demand/supply meeting and give input/direction to future orders, transfers, etc.
• Execute product pricing in Demandware & keep logs for all SOX compliance
• Ad hoc reporting to support the business
• Longer term seasonal planning to help support merchandising
• Daily/Weekly collaboration with the distribution center on unit forecasts, shipping updates, etc
• Work cross functionally with onsite merchants to provide information on product inventory
• OTB Management and reconciliation

• The successful candidate will have experience working in a complex corporate structure and an ability to influence across departmental boundaries to effect positive change.
• This individual will have the following knowledge, skills and personal characteristics (required):
◦ Bachelor's degree in business, merchandising, or related field
◦ 1-2years in merchandise planning and/or inventory management
◦ Motivated, dedicated, and reliable with commitment to achieving completion of tasks within agreed strict time scales
◦ Excellent communication skills
◦ Ability to manage multiple projects at once
◦ Comfort with ambiguity and frequent change
◦ Self-starter who works well in a demanding, fast-paced, and high-performance environment
◦ Willingness to work off-hours during busy season
◦ Positive and enthusiastic attitude
◦ High level of comfort with MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Word, Google Docs
◦ Offline retail or merchandising experience helpful
◦ Applicants should have an interest in e-commerce, merchandising, and brand marketing.
