Power of She
General Summary:
As a Graphic Designer at Athleta, you’ll work with our Visual Merchandising team to design the Womens and Girls Style Guide document that publishes to our fleet by drop. Each season has a look and feel that you will capture. You will work closely with our Visual Merchandising team leads manage and organize our team calendar for the year.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Design and maintain Athleta monthly Style Guides, Standards and Training Guides
• Photographing of monthly floor set and in-season updates. (Basic photography skills needed)
• Partner with cross-functional partners, including store operations and field for content that goes into Style Guides, Standards and Training Guides
• Create and maintain Visual Merchandising calendar system and timelines for the entire year
• Develop with new ideas and improvements for existing documents and future documents
• Update all Visual Merchandising tools including store design documents and standards guides as needed
• Other projects as directed, including working with Retail Creative Teams
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
• Software proficiency required: Photoshop, inDesign, Illustrator, Excel, Lightroom, Microsoft Office
• Filemaker experience a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management, multi-tasking and organizational skills
• Ability to problem solve and develop creative solutions
• Ability to work independently while handling multiple projects concurrently
• Must be able to work well with business partners, as well as independently, to achieve objectives
• Strong attention to detail and graphic brand standards
• BA/BFA in Graphic Design or Illustration from Certified Art School preferred
• Portfolio that demonstrates graphic design and production skills
