POSITION SUMMARY:

The diversity of our operations has recently created an opportunity for a Brand Management Coordinator in our New York offices. The Brand Management Coordinator position supports the Global Brand Management in executing a Global and US Regional comprehensive merchandising and assortment strategy for a specific Brooks Brothers collection that meets the needs of the global customer
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Support the development of the product map for the area
• Compile historical sell-in analysis
• Creation of product map in PLM
• Assist in assigning retail price targets and unit projections based on product map in PLM
• Assist Global Brand Manager in creation and maintenance of fabric chart
• Support Global Brand Manager during proto 1 and 2 reviews
• Organize proto samples, ensuring status and changes are clearly marked and up-to-date
• Pull information on cost, retail, IMU% to help identify issues or concerns
• Recap adoption rates
• Support PLM team with design and trim updates on BOM’s in PLM
• Help in the line presentation to Regional Brand Managers and in gathering feedback
• Creation of proto 2 requests
• Prepare for setup of showroom for Wholesale Sales Campaign
• Ensure samples are steamed, ticketed and appropriate for presentation
• Assist in merchandising and maintenance of showroom
• Pull final costing reports
• Assists with Marketing and Visual needs
• Prepares and passes off samples to marketing and checks back in
• Gathers style information for marketing/visual books
• Additional responsibilities:
• Pull daily reports on Best Selling products and pull Store/Style selling reports when needed
• Create and maintain quarterly and weekly selling reports; recapping Global Buys
• Print and distribute all weekly sales reports
• In charge of sample management and closet organization
• Manage samples for photo shoots and seasonal presentations
• Provide and enter product knowledge
• Support manager to meet all calendar deadlines
• General administrative details as needed
Skills/Requirements
IDEAL CANDIDATES SHOULD POSSESS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising or equivalent business/finance degree
• Must have at least 1 semester up to 1 year of vertical retail merchandising experience, including internship(s)
• Understanding of and passion for the Brooks Brothers brand
• Strong analytical capability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong collaboration and organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong computer systems experience and knowledge (PLM, PDM or similar)
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, Powerpoint.
