Description
The Product Director for SEO is accountable for the digital platform product strategy and roadmap. Reporting to Senior Director of Product Management, the candidate owns business requirements, financials and roadmaps for organic marketing strategies that focus on content, organic link building, technical SEO and partner site integration points. The candidate must demonstrate strong leadership and influence with the ability to communicate a clear product vision to both business and technical partners.
Your role will include:
• Build a center of excellence around organic growth strategies for nike.com globally
• Continually monitor industry trends and identify new digital opportunities to fill product gaps that drive growth.
• Manage 3rd party digital marketing and search agency
• Monitor product for all defined KPI’s to ensure best in class SEO optimization as part of daily DNA.
• Build requirements roadmap and prioritize based on business growth models. Manage successful implementation and execution of SEO priorities.
• Complete opportunity assessments in a quick-to-market agile environment. Including, but not limited to: synthesizing business requirements, identifying areas of uncertainty and recommending solutions.
• Complete ROI models & measure financial business cases for new enhancement requests based on metrics for success.
• Define business requirements and feature sets, as well as product research and platform specifications for approved release cycles.
• Work across teams and projects to synchronize and manage deliverables.
• Complete test scripts and ensures requirement traceability. Proactively identify issues and partner with key business leaders at senior levels.
• Responsible for operational readiness tasks and performs product demos & training to stakeholders.
• Negotiate and resolve problems and escalate as required.
• Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding across teams.
Qualifications
• Passion for SEO while working in a fast pace agile digital environment is a must!
• 7-10 years of relevant product management experience with proven track record of delivering successful SEO improvements to back end systems.
• 2+ years of product management in SEO with proven track record
• Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
• Excellent analytical skills with an understanding of KPI’s and financial models to recognize a practical solution over the complicated.
• Superior relationship-building with cross-functional teams to deliver results through excellent partnership, communication and negotiating skills.
• Direct experience with building and leading a team.
• Experience with agile development methodology preferred.
• High level of attention to detail with the ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, adjust priorities, and work in a continuously changing environment to meet critical deadlines.
• Highly motivated to be self-sufficient and able to operate without close supervision.
• Experience conceptualizing, evaluating and negotiating 3rd party strategic partnerships.
